This highly anticipated festival will feature hands-on activities, demonstrations, videos, and even a planetarium show! There will be opportunities to gaze through telescopes set up along the Mall, providing sights of sunspots as well as close-up views of the Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, double stars, and star clusters! Individuals can also speak with representatives from highly recognized science institutions and universities and learn more about astronomical discoveries and careers in science!

Because of inclement weather, the Astronomy Festival will be at The School Without Walls, 2130 G St. NW, Washington, DC (on the George Washington University campus).
