Autumn Market Fair

This event has passed, but check out our calendar for fun today, this week, this month!

Celebrate autumn at the Claude Moore Colonial Farm, our area’s living history working farm and National Park! October 21-22, 2017, families are invited to go back in time and visit 18th-century farmers in costume and character.

Learn to dip candles and watch and the blacksmith and rope maker at work. Plus, enjoy children’s games, a puppet theater, and live music, and visit the Farm’s Heritage breed animals, including turkeys, chickens, and Ossabow pigs.

Come hungry — food and drinks will be available for purchase, like spit-roasted chicken, savory meat pies, sausages, cheese, bread, and roasted olives. Desserts include seasonal pies and sweets. For the adults, enjoy ale, beer, and wine at the Shady Pig & Turkey Tavern.
