Children in grades 1 to 9 are invited to spend a STEM-inspired afternoon with SpiderSmart! On August 27, 2016, they will open its doors for two unique and interactive workshops perfect for kids looking to dive into the world of STEM!

Children in first through fourth grade will enjoy learning all about DNA and even construct a model of a double helix, while children in fifth through ninth grade will participate in the DNA extraction lab! The day finishes with pizza and a discussion on STEM-based careers with Mr. Tony, the workshop presenter. The workshops last from 1 to 3 pm and parents are encouraged to register ahead of time by clicking here.
