Family Gingerbread Workshop

Calendar > December Events

We’ve always considered the National Building Museum a hidden treasure with its indoor play and explore opportunities for toddlers to ‘tweens. Visiting during the holidays is no exception! Join the Museum December 2-3, 2017, for a Family Gingerbread Workshop.

You’ll have the opportunity to build your own edible house using gingerbread and royal icing, and decorate it with a variety of colorful and yummy materials! Learn more and register: Dec 2 at 10 am, Dec 2 at 2 pm, and Dec 3 at 1 pm.

While at the museum, be sure to explore their Family Tool Kits. This rental backpack, or toolkit, is filled with interactive activities designed to tie together the mission and passion of the museum. Each kit has a designated age and instructions on how to use the contents to keep little ones engaged and excited. Learn more.

The National Building Museum is located at 401 F St. NW, Washington, DC 20001.
