Fire Truck Rodeo & Parade

Kids love rodeos. Kids love fire trucks. But have they ever seen a fire truck rodeo?! Come out to the 90th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival to witness this unique event! Watch firefighters wrangle and maneuver their trucks backward, forwards, and through tightly spaced cones, in the ultimate competition of power and finesse. If that wasn’t cool enough, there will be hundreds of modern and antique fire trucks on display after the rodeo, too. Little ones will love meeting the firefighters and exploring these incredible life-saving machines. There will even be a fire apparatus photographer on hand to provide free photographs of the vehicles.

The fun begins May 5, 2017, at Millbrook High School with the fire truck rodeo starting at 9 am and the ending in style with an antique fire truck parade around town at 2 pm. This event is part of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, so there is plenty to do before and after the rodeo. Click here to see all the events and opportunities, including a carnival!
