ICE!, Featuring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

This event has passed, but check out our calendar for fun today, this week, this month!

A band of master artisans, hailing from Harbin, known as the “Ice City” of the northeastern region of China, has created this year’s winter wonderland at the Gaylord National Resort at National Harbor!

This year, Gaylord National Resort hosts Christmas on the Potomac’s 47th anniversary featuring ICE!, their signature holiday attraction, honoring Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! Created by these ice-loving artisans, the walk-through winter paradise features scenes from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer carved from more than two million pounds of ice.

Feast your eyes on all the scenes as you walk through the wonderland at a chilly 9 degrees. Enjoy the annually shown crystal clear ice sculpture scene of the Nativity, slip on down one of the four ice slides, and enjoy special treats like hot cocoa and treats when you’re ready to relax. There will be so much to see and do, you’ll hardly notice the cold! ICE! will be open November 18, 2017-January 1, 2018, and is located on the Orchard Terrace of the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is located at 201 Waterfront St., National Harbor, MD, 20745.
