Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival

CalendarMay Events

Introduce your kids to the arts and support the Greater Reston Arts Center in the process. The 26th Annual Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival is coming back May 20-21, 2017, in the heart of Reston, VA. Head on down to the Reston Town Center (RTC) to get up close and personal with some of the nation’s best artists. This is a terrific opportunity to ask questions and get to know the local and national art community, especially if you have any aspiring artists in your household!

The festival is free and open to the public, although, donations are greatly appreciated. This annual festival will feature an 11-block art walk and is regarded as one of the “top five” outdoor festivals in the country. In addition to the art exhibits, the festival will include live performing arts with innovative dance performances, and the Family Art Park will offer free art-making activities all weekend. Free garage parking is available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. (You may have heard that Reston Town Center started charging for weekday parking, but garage parking remains free every weekend and on “special event” Fridays, such as this festival.)

Volunteer opportunities are available for middle and high-schoolers available! Find volunteer options and training info here.

The Reston Town Center is located at 11900 Market St., Reston, VA 20190. Connect with the festival: Online | Facebook. Connect with RTC: Online | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | (703) 579-6720.
