Parent Education Presentation: Why Do Kids Do What They Do?

This event has passed, but check out our calendar for fun today, this week, this month!

On January 25, 2019, you’re invited to a free parent education presentation: Why Do Kids Do What They Do? The Science of How Children Make Decisions.

Most of us have at one time or another found ourselves wondering “What were they thinking…” in response to some of our children’s decisions. In this presentation, child psychologist Dr. Rebecca Resnik will review the brain science behind how children and teens make decisions. She’ll also explain how their calculations change as they move from child to adult, and help parents learn to apply techniques from behavioral economics to guide their children towards smarter choices.

This event is free and open to Nysmith parents/community and outside visitors.
