Photo Review: Arrowbrook Centre Park

Arrowbrook Centre Park is a hidden gem. Literally, who knew such a beautiful place existed just behind the trees off Centreville Rd. in Herndon near the Clock Tower shopping Center (think: Chuck E. Cheese and Shoppers Food Warehouse)? Scroll below the photos to read more.

We went to the park to enjoy its fully-fenced playground with soft rubber surfacing (no mulch or dirt). The climbing structure provided a great challenge to my 2 school-aged children with lots of challenging suspension climb-on features. The playground, with ample parking, is next to a large synthetic-turf soccer field, a picnic pavilion, two tennis courts, a basketball court, and a bocce ball court. Next to the soccer fields, there are public, indoor restrooms available! This description makes the place seem huge. Technically – at 23 acres, it is, but as you can see from the pictures, it was not overwhelming and nicely organized.

There is plenty of benches and seating to sit and have a picnic. I saw many children also riding their bikes there – we’ll be sure to bring our ride-on scooters and toys next time! Arrowbrook Centre Park is located at 2351 Field Point Road, Herndon, VA. Learn more here.
