Earn a badge and develop some new skills at the National Building Museum’s Discover Engineering Family Day! Held on February 18, 2017, this free family-friendly event invites Scouts from all over to participate in a variety of hands-on activities that fulfill many badge requirements!

Scouts, families, and children 4 to 12 will discover how professional engineers turn their ideas into reality. With over 20 interactive problem-solving activities, rocket launches, and astronaut meet and greets, there will be something for everyone — scouts honor!

Your Cub Scout, Boy Scout, or Girl Scout will have a unique opportunity to earn a badge during the day. Stop by the Scout check-in table for the full list of activities that will help your guy or gal learn about requirements and more, including:

• Bear Cub Scouts: Family Fun, Build-a-Model, and Aircraft
• WEBELOS: Craftsman, Engineer, and Scientist
• Boy Scouts: Engineering
• Brownie Girl Scouts: Building Art, Science in Action, Listening to the Past
• Girl Scouts: Earn your IP patch at the USPTO exhibit
