STEMtastics: Inspiring Middle School Girls to Pursue STEM Careers

Local branches of the American Association of University Women are excited to host STEMtastics on March 10, 2018!

This special event, held at Northern Virginia Community College (Annandale Campus), boasts a full day of student and parent workshops (optional for parents who wish to stay). The goal of the event and each workshop is to inspire middle school-aged girls to think about a future career in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Workshops are led by professional women who work in STEM fields and include interactive or hands-on opportunities.

Advanced registration[3] is required, which opens February 1, 2018; registration closes on March 4, 2018, or earlier if capacity is reached.

This unique opportunity for area girls will be held at Northern Virginia Community College (Annandale Campus), located at 8333 Little River Tpke., Annandale, VA 22003.
