Strawberry Jubilee
May 6-7 & 13-14, 2017

You don’t get to be the longest-running strawberry festival in Loudoun County without having a few tricks up your sleeve. In addition to live music, wagon rides, family games, AND a pie eating contest, Great Country Farms’ festival also boasts an adorable Diaper Derby for 7- to 12-month-olds and a celebrity appearance from the Royal Strawberry Princess!

Montgomery County Strawberry Festival
May 13, 2017

Montgomery County is the sweetest place to be on May 13, 2017! Their 7th Annual Strawberry Festival boasts a carnival, live music, beer garden, and so much more! Plus, kids will love the hay and pony rides and face painting! Come hungry, as there will not only be traditional carnival food, but also favorite local food trucks as well!

West Virginia Strawberry Festival
May 13-21, 2017

What started as a one-day event to honor local strawberry growers has now grown into a full week of strawberry-fueled fun! From May 13-21, 2017, enjoy a ton of family-friendly activities such as the Horse & Carriage Parade, quilt, photography, and car shows, a band competition, and block parties on Friday and Saturday night! And did we mention, there’s a carnival going on all week long, too? Whew, what a way to kick off the summer!

Strawberry & Wine Festival
May 20-21, 2017

Held at Hanover Vegetable Farm, this family-friendly festival will have tons of food, wine, and lots of fun activities! Kids will love the pony rides, face painting, balloon twisting, and so much more. Parents can enjoy beer, wine, and samplings from local vineyards, along with plenty of the live entertainment, including Kris Scott and Dan Schutt Band. There will also be plenty of vendors for some local, unique shopping.

Oatlands Strawberry Festival
May 21, 2017

On May 21, 2017, the 3rd Annual Oatlands Strawberry Festival, hosted at the Oatlands Historic House & Gardens, will provide a beautiful backdrop for a day of family fun! Admission includes self-guided tours of the mansion and gardens, hayrides, and parking. The littlest of festival-goers will enjoy a garden story time, scavenger hunts, games, and crafts.

Delaplane Strawberry Festival
May 27-28, 2017

Grab the kids and head to Sky Meadow State Park for some good old-fashioned family fun May 27-28, 2017! For just $25 a car, you can enjoy a day full of activities including hayrides, crafts, hiking, and even a corn hole tournament! And of course, fresh, delicious strawberries!

Sandy Spring Museum’s 36th Annual Strawberry Festival
June 3, 2017

With more than 6,000 attendees each year, this strawberry festival has something for everyone, including moon bounces, pony rides, food trucks, and even a Beer Garden for the grown-ups! But what sets this strawberry festival apart is its inclusion of the arts, featuring a Craft Village, where festival goers can support local artists and crafters. And you can even enjoy the musical stylings of festival headliners Charm City Junction, or catch one of the other live performances on one of their community stages!
