The IEP Process & How to Navigate the System

We’ve all heard about Individualized Education Program (IEPs), but when it comes to understanding the ins and outs, the benefits, and more, we are often left with more questions than less. Join Educational Advocacy and Consulting on August 20, 2015 and August 24, 2015, 6-8 pm to learn about the IEP process and how to navigate the system. These free parent information sessions will help you learn about procuring supports for your child within the school setting. You will get answers to questions such as:

• How do I start the process?
• What are my rights?
• What is the difference between a 504 and an IEP?
• How can I be an effective advocate for my child and work cooperatively with the school?
