This event has passed, but check out our calendar[1] for fun today, this week, this month![/blockquote]

The Virginia Indian Festival at Riverbend Park is set for September 9, 2017! This hands-on, family-friendly festival celebrates the history and lives of Virginia’s Indians.

Visitors will have the opportunity to shoot a bow and arrow and throw a spear, help build a dugout canoe, and learn to use ancient tools! Plus, there will be live storytelling, demonstrations of primitive technology, and the chance to enjoy performances by members of eight Native American tribes from Virginia, including Rappahannock dancers and drummers.

Arts and crafts produced by Virginia tribes will also be for sale, and food concessions as well.

Admission is $7 per person in advance or $8 at the door.

Pre-purchase tickets here[2]. Riverbend Park is located at 8700 Potomac Hills St., Great Falls, VA 22066.
