Free-for-Now: Audible Streaming For Kids

By DullesMoms, May 2020

Audible, an Amazon-owned company, has made hundreds of their audiobooks available to children for free during the COVID-19 crisis.

As the largest audiobook listening platform in the country, Audible posted on their website, “For as long as schools are closed, we’re open.” Noting, “Kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories.”

Normally fee-based via a monthly subscription, kids can stream stories for free with a simple click (no sign-up or sign-in) from a desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or phone.

Stories are divided into six categories: Littlest Listeners, Elementary, Tween, Teen, Literary Classics, and Folk & Fairy Tales for All. Plus, many stories are available in French, German, Japanese, Italian, and Spanish, too!

Click here to begin, as well as discover beloved titles like Winnie-the-Pooh: AA Milne’s Pooh Classics, Volume 1, Kid Normal, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Book 1, The Mystery of Alice, and much more!
