Blue Angels Flyover

This event has passed, but check out our calendar[1] for fun today, this week, this month!

Did you know more than 11 million people see the Blue Angels at air shows yearly? The Blue Angels, the United States Navy’s flight demonstration squadron, was formed in 1946 after the French Patrouille de France formed in 1931, making it the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team in the world!

You’ll have the chance to see these elite and talented pilots live in Annapolis, MD, as they prepare and perform during the United States Naval Academy’s Commissioning Week. Although the Academy isn’t open to the public, there are many spots along the river and near the United States Naval Academy where the public can get a great view of them.

Weather permitting, opportunities include:

May 21, 2019
11 am-1 pm, Blue Angels Circle & Arrival, Severn River
2 pm, Blue Angels Flight Rehearsal, Severn River

May 22, 2019

May 24, 2019
10:04 am, Blue Angels Graduation Fly-Over, Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
