The park boasts a 14-acre tall grass meadow that provides viewing opportunities for songbirds and butterflies. Plus\, bald eagles and osprey are two of the typical birds found here! Riverbend Park is packed with trails! Trails include a 2.5-mile portion of the Potomac Heritage Trail that links national and regional parkland. \nPlease note that Riverbend Park has high visitation on weekends and holidays\, usually between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.
