With the opening of the newly renovated Douglass Community Center, the indoor sandbox is no longer open.
Did you know you can still visit the Douglass Dunes?! While Douglass Community Center is being renovated, the Dunes are at a temporary home in downtown Leesburg (address below)!
This unique play opportunity gives kids the chance to enjoy an indoor sandbox, complete with digging toys and buckets, in a beach-themed atmosphere! There’s plenty of seating for moms and dads, too, with a perfect view to keep an eye on little diggers!
Douglass Dunes is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-9 pm, and Saturdays, 8 am-4 pm (please note, they close from 10:30-11:30 am Mon-Fri, and from 2-2:30 pm on Mon/Wed/Fri).
