Earn Your Cadette Book Artist Patch at the RCC

Scouting Events & Activities in NOVA

Cadette Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to learn about all parts of a book (such as gilt-edge, folio, hinge, endpaper, deckle edge, and saddle stitch), as well as types of books (such as spiral bound and perfect bound). If time permits, participants will take a short walk to Reston’s Used Book Shop at Lake Anne Plaza.

Upon completion of the requirements, Cadettes will receive their Book Artist patch.
