Start a new family tradition with the Kids Fishing Derby, a fun and educational day by the water!

On March 29, 2025, volunteers will teach kids (ages 2–15) the basics of baiting, casting, hooking, and even cooking their freshly caught fish. With the help of Trout Unlimited, participants can have their fish cleaned and stored, making this a complete fishing experience.

Join the fishing fun on the Sugarland Run Trail (behind the Herndon Police Station, 497 Herndon Pkwy., Herndon, VA 20170).
