Port Discovery Children’s Museum strives to be an inclusive and accessible space that celebrates neurodiversity and welcomes people of all needs and abilities.

Port Discovery’s Sensory-Friendly Mornings provide museum access to families who would benefit from a sensory-friendly experience and quieter setting. These mornings are designed to provide you with an opportunity to enjoy the Port Discovery experience in a sensory-modified setting, including:
• Limited attendance
• Port Discovery staff to assist with providing a supportive environment
• Sound and light reduction
• Sensory Kits
• Dedicated Quiet Zone Area
• Special activities
