The Other Children of the Sun, a whimsical superhero adventure based on Navajo creation legend, follows the journey of celestial siblings. This tale of a Navajo creation legend unfolds not on earth, but in the house of the sun, where the lesser-known siblings of the Hero Twins reside. These celestial children set forth on a journey to slay monsters—and find their own place in creation.

This whimsical superhero adventure, on stage at The Kennedy Center on February 22-March 9, 2025, reminds us that every journey—no matter how small—has the power to change the course of the universe! (Performances are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 pm and 4 pm each day.)

Writer and co-director Rhiana Yazzie and co-director Steven Paul Judd offer a funny and thought-provoking world premiere play that challenges us to look at heroism through a new lens.
