Tudor Tots: How Do You Celebrate Freedom? @ Tudor Place
This Tots program, on April 12, 2023, will empower young learners (ages 18 months to 4 years) and their caregivers to recognize and appreciate freedom. Enjoy songs about liberty, complete a craft that honors the ability to choose, and listen to a story about the history of African-American independence.
This special Tudor Tots session is offered in preparation to celebrate the 160th anniversary of DC’s Emancipation Day. Did you know that enslavement in the District ended on April 16, 1862?
