The National Air & Space Museum’s March Family Day celebrates firsts in flight, including two anniversaries for the first flights around the world by the Douglas World Cruiser aircraft 100 years ago, and the Breitling Orbiter 3 balloon 25 years ago. Join in the fun on-site, on March 9, 2024, at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA.

Admission to this Smithsonian destination is free, while parking is $15 per car.

Can’t make it in person? A virtual Family Day will launch online on March 8, 2024. Activities include storytime, videos, and hands-on demonstrations that learners of all ages can do at home.
