Soccer + Golf = FootGolf!

By DullesMoms.com, March 2019

Many golf courses have brought a new hybrid sport to Virginia, a combination of soccer and golf called FootGolf! On a 9- or 18-hole golf course, players kick a soccer ball into a 21-inch diameter hole. The game follows traditional golf rules but is less stressful and more casual, and the goal is to get the ball in the hole in the determined par score or better.

Many local golf courses offer this opportunity, good for all ages, including:

Virginia
Lake Ridge Golf Course | Woodbridge, VA
The Golf Club at Lansdowne | Leesburg, VA
Pinecrest Golf Course | Alexandria, VA
Broad Run Golf Course | Bristow, VA
General’s Ridge Golf Course | Manassas Park, VA — Closed —

Maryland
Sligo Creek Golf Course | Silver Spring, MD
Northwest Golf Course | Silver Spring, MD

Washington, DC
East Potomac Golf Course | Washington, DC
