Free Entrance Days at National Parks

America’s Best Idea — the national parks — is even better when it’s free! Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates in 2019 below:

Jan 21, 2019: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Apr 20, 2019: First day of National Park Week
Aug 25, 2019: National Park Service Birthday
Sept 28, 2019: National Public Lands Day
Nov 11, 2019: Veterans Day

If you’re planning a trip that includes multiple national parks, you might consider The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass that provides entrance to all national parks, national wildlife refuges, national forests, and many other Federal lands — more than 2,000 in all — for one low price!

The fee waiver includes entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservations, camping, tours, concessions, and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.
