Girl Power! An NSO Family Concert

Bring the whole family and experience the exciting, engaging, and enriching world of symphonic music with the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) at The Kennedy Center!

On February 16, 2020, audiences young and old are invited to join the NSO at a special showcase of fierce female composers, conductors, and performers. Marking 100 years since the 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote, Girl Power! will feature Jennifer Higdon’s “Amazing Grace,” Pinar Toprak’s theme from Captain Marvel, and much more!

Plus, come early for a musical instrument petting zoo! Starting one hour before each performance, hands-on activities let children get up close with the instruments they’ll see played on the stage.
