<< More Scouting Fun
By DullesMoms, Jan 2018
As a true reflection of what life was like in the earliest days of our nation’s capital, the Federal period architecture, furniture, and art collection of Dumbarton House makes for a fun opportunity to crawl back in time!
Built in 1799, Dumbarton House serves as the headquarters of The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America and seeks to promote the preservation our nation’s history through events and programming perfect for both Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts. Offering five different day or overnight programs, scouts can work towards badge requirements and earn their own Dumbarton House patch.
