Kids are invited to climb to new heights — literally — at one of Loudoun County Parks & Recreation’s indoor climbing walls!

Found at both Claude Moore Rec Center (Sterling) and Dulles South Rec Center (Chantilly), each center offers a kid-friendly climbing wall, providing a safe challenge for all abilities. Additional routes with varying levels of difficulty offer fun for veteran climbers, too!

Climbers must weigh at least 30 pounds (in order to fit properly in the safety harness). Climbers should also wear clothing that allows flexibility, is not too baggy, and doesn’t have hanging/cumbersome embellishments. Shoes should be close-toed and athletic-like, hair should be tucked back, and jewelry removed. Children 17 and under must have a waiver with their parent’s signature (signed and witnessed “on-site”) in order to participate. Notes written by patrons or notes from home will not be accepted.
