Apply Now for McGruff Safety Camps

This event has passed, but check out our calendar for fun today, this week, this month!

Loudoun’s annual McGruff Safety Camps are back this summer for their 30th year!

Camps allow children who are entering kindergarten and first grade to learn about safety topics, including fire safety, bicycle safety, and 9-1-1 emergencies. Throughout the week, campers will have an opportunity to meet law enforcement and K-9 officers, plus a chance to see law enforcement and fire/rescue vehicles first-hand!

These popular community camps began back in the summer of 1988 and have continued every summer through a joint effort between the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and Loudoun County Fire and Rescue.

Applications are now available for download. These week-long camps run Monday-Friday; the schedule includes:

June 24-28, 2019
Countryside Elementary | Sterling, VA

July 8-12 & 15-19, 2019
Evergreen Mill Elementary | Leesburg, VA
