Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is now open to the community!

Operating under limited, temporary hours (10 am to 4 pm, daily, weather permitting), enjoy 95 beautiful acres of ornamental display gardens and unique native plant collections. At this beautiful public garden, discover local flora and fauna among lakes, forests, and meandering walking trails. Take in majestic views of the Piedmont hills, explore the Korean Bell Garden, or pay a visit to their restored 18th-century log cabin.

Please note, the visitor center, bathrooms, and the Lilac Pavilion are still closed, as well as all gathering areas, including pavilions and gazebos. Admission fees are being collected, follow the signs for entry and admission.

Visit here to see what’s in bloom in late spring and early summer, including:

May
Scillas, azaleas, rhododendron, dogwoods, lilacs, Siberian irises, Bradford pears, flowering plums, butterfly garden, crab apples, white garden, tulips, Potomac Valley native wildflowers, peonies, alliums, and flowering shrubs.

June
Hostas, hydrangeas, herbs, daylilies, wildflower meadow, white garden, butterfly garden, native and non-native ferns, alliums, and perennials.
