Girl Scouts are invited to join the Maryland Science Center for an in-person Mechanical Engineering Workshop for Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts.

Scouts will learn to design, build, and test multiple machines to earn their mechanical engineering badge:

Nov 23, 2021
Brownies will learn about forces, friction, and energy while they design, build, and test a leap bot, fling flyer, and race car.

Nov 6, 2021
Juniors will learn about energy, simple and compound machines, and the design process. Then they will design, build, and test a balloon car, paddle boat. and crane.

Pre-registration is required for each event (details below).
