Outdoor Fun, Including Miniature Golf & Batting Cages, Await Your Family

By DullesMoms, May 2020

Dulles Golf Center & Sports Park is a year-round recreation destination perfect for the whole family (or the whole team)! After the last few months at home, they invite you to enjoy the mild temps and outdoor fun, including their miniature golf course and batting cages.

Miniature Golf
Now open, guests of all ages are invited to enjoy 18-holes of miniature golfing fun! Dulles Golf’s unique course features fountains, moguls, and even stone traps! Plus, enjoy seeing the course’s ten famous lighthouse replicas, including the iconic towers at Cape Hatteras (NC), Assateague (VA), and Fire Island (NY).

This fresh air experience naturally encourages social distancing, however, Dulles Golf Center & Sports Park is taking extra steps to ensure a safe experience. All high-touch fixtures are regularly disinfected, and balls and putters are sanitized after each use.

Plus, keep track of who’s winning with a brand new pencil and scorecard, and be sure to bring a credit card (no cash is being accepted at this time).

Weather-permitting, visit daily to play, from 9 am to 8 pm; learn more.

Batting Cages
Whether you’re an athlete looking for practice, or just want to test your luck (and skills) with a bat, step up to the plate and enjoy the batting cages at Dulles Golf Center & Sports Park (opens May 30, 2020)!

More than a dozen cages are available — choose from slow-pitch baseball (ages 8 and up) or slow-pitch softball (ages 6 and up). Speeds range from 18-65 mph, depending on your choice. Dulles Golf supplies the bats and balls, however, to keep things safe please bring your own helmet required; in non-pandemic times, Dulles Golf would provide a helmet).

Choose one token to play (10 pitches), or more to fill your night with fun. Be sure to bring a credit card (no cash is being accepted at this time).

All batting cage equipment, high-touch areas, and even tokens (see below), are sanitized between uses.

Weather-permitting, visit daily to play, from 9 am to 8 pm; learn more.

Unfamiliar with Dulles Golf?
Ranked as a “Top 50 Stand-Alone Golf Range” in the US, you’ll find more than just a miniature golf course. Enjoy covered, lighted, and heated extra-wide tee stations at their outdoor driving range (featuring Power Tees, the world’s leading automated teeing system; currently open).

Plus, enjoy batting cages for both fast and slow pitch baseball and softball (opening May 30, 2020), white sand beach-style volleyball courts with seasonal leagues, and plenty of space to host premiere events, including corporate team-building and children’s birthday parties!
