Learn how to build a robot, fly a drone, or even recycle glass into a table at this year’s Maker Faire NoVa!
Head on out to George Mason University on June 2, 2019, for this year’s Faire, which includes over 180 makers and exhibitors ready to showcase their wares and talents! The event is perfect for all ages and is full of hands-on activities, entertainment, and demonstrations that will delight and interest the crowd. Meet craftspeople, teachers, metal workers, artists, and more from all over the DMV and spend the day learning something new.
This year, Maker Faire NoVa is also partnering with the SmartPhilm Festival. Faire attendees will have an opportunity to view films created entirely on a smartphone and attend workshops related to this storytelling revolution.
Tickets to Maker Faire NoVa are on sale now. Early bird tickets may be purchased online through April 30, 2019, and advance ticket sales end on May 26, 2019. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. George Mason students, faculty, and staff along with children under 2 are free. Parking is free, too!
