American Girl Author Valerie Tripp Brings Felicity to Mount Vernon

This event has passed, but check out our calendar for fun today, this week, this month!

Join George Washington’s Mount Vernon for a special tea and program as they bring history to life with American Girl Author Valerie Tripp and Mount Vernon’s Mary Wiseman, a character interpreter portraying Martha Washington!

On November 17, 2018, they will talk about the birth of Felicity and how her story created a new interest for children learning 18th-century history. Both ladies will be available for photos and Tripp can sign your books and dolls at the tea. You could be the recipient of a Felicity doll or the complete set of the Felicity six-book series!

Pre-registration is required.

George Washington’s Mount Vernon is open 365-days a year and is located at 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Hwy., Mount Vernon, VA 22121. Plan ahead and visit on a day with special events, including story times, Tribute at the Tomb, unique children’s activities, and more.
