On February 24, 2024, a childhood storybook comes to life in the musical adaptation of Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees.

Live on stage at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, the 20th anniversary of this beloved tale shares the retelling of Gerald the Giraffe, who enlists the help of his friends as he builds his confidence and learns the power of self-acceptance!
This show is recommended for children ages 3-8.
Audiences will have a choice of two shows. The 2 pm performance will be sensory-friendly; sensory-friendly performances are designed to create a welcoming and comfortable arts experience for people with autism, sensory sensitivities, or other social, learning, or cognitive disabilities.
