Positive Ally is a learning center that provides afterschool enrichment and summer programs designed to promote leadership and life skills in young people through academic reinforcement, organized sports, and extracurricular activities. The four life skills they teach, include 1) communication and interpersonal skills, 2) critical thinking and decision-making, 3) coping and self-management, and health and wellness (learning and practicing the science behind leading a healthy lifestyle).

Positive Ally’s half-day, full-day, and 3-hour specialty summer camps are a mix of traditional summer fun and academics. Kids, divided by age groups (K to 6th-grade) enjoy hands-on fun, games, field trips, and more, as well as 45-minutes of daily academic enrichment. Each week boasts a special weekly theme, ensuring that children are happy all summer long!

Let’s Travel Through Africa Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
June 10-14, 2019
Learn all about the geography and culture of Africa during this week-long camp! Children will taste food, play cultural games, create art, and more! This camp is also available as a 3-hour specialty camp. To learn more and register, click here.

Culinary Delights: Baking from Around the World Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
June 17-21, 2019
Bake your way through summer, or at least through one week of it! This sweets-inspired camp focuses on the cakes, breads, and cookies of countries like Sweden and South Africa! This camp is also available as a 3-hour specialty camp. To learn more and register, click here.

Elementary Economics Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
June 24-28, 2019

Electronic Storybook Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
July 1-5, 2019
Positive Ally’s STEAM camp includes science, electronics, creative thinking, and writing activities as students work to build their very own electronic storybook! This camp is also available as a 3-hour specialty camp. To learn more and register, click here.

Theatre Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
July 8-12, 2019

Leadership: Win Friends & Influence People Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
July 15-19, 2019
Find a camp dedicated to communication with Positive Ally’s Leadership camp! Students will develop an understanding of communication through improv games, activities, listening skills, empathy, and more! To learn more and register, click here.

Outdoor Survival & Leadership Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
June 15-19, 2019
This 3-hour specialty camp is a great place for children to learn what to do in a variety of emergency situations. Campers will learn basic CPR & First Aid, compass navigation, and even how to build a fire! To learn more and register, click here.

Future MD’s: Investigating Medicine Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
July 22-26, 2019
Medicine, science, and health come together in this STEM-based camp for children! Through interactive demos, crafts, and activities, students will learn first aid basics and the role that doctors play. To learn more and register, click here.

Amusement Park: LEGO Robotics Camp (1st to 6th-grade)
July 22-26, 2019
This 3-hour specialty STEM camp introduces children to the wonderful world of LEGO Robotics! Children will build and code an amusement park, with all the bells and whistles. To learn more and register, click here.

Amazing Race Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
July 29-Aug 2, 2019
Amazing Race camp is full of challenges from different countries! Students will complete craft projects, make passports, and explore a variety of cultures as they travel to various places. To learn more and register, click here.

Physics Innovators Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
July 29-Aug 2, 2019
This 3-hour specialty camp invites children to explore the laws of physics and mechanical engineering. Campers will use their imaginations to build simple machines and make their own inventions. To learn more and register, click here.

Leadership: We Are a Family Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
Aug 5-9, 2019
Find all kinds of team building activities during this week-long camp! Teams will hike, solve problems, and make decisions together through a variety of exercises. This camp ends with a family picnic and is also available as a 3-hour specialty camp. To learn more and register, click here.

Social Kidpreneurship Camp (K- to 6th-grade)
Aug 12-16, 2019
Campers will be exposed to issues found within society alongside the ways entrepreneurs are trying to solve them during this camp. Junior Counselor Program (Ages 13-14)
This program is a great experience for young teens wanting to gain lifelong experience by being camp counselors, mentored by Positive Ally’s experienced teachers! Junior Counselors are given responsibilities for groups of children which include serving snack, running lessons, supervising children, aiding in implementing the weekly curriculum, and much more. Weekly, Junior Counselors will receive a written review of their areas of strengths and areas of opportunity for growth; upon completion of their program with us, depending on performance, Positive Ally will write letters of recommendation to each Junior Counselor.
