What began with 7 local vendors in 2017 has quickly turned into over 120 local/regional farmers and vendors and has created a weekly routine for many local (and not so local) residents. Fresh vegetables, locally sourced baked goods, dairy products, gourmet meats, and even a handful of Artisans, are a sampling of the types of vendors and products you’ll see each week at EatLoco’s One Loudoun and Brambleton Farmers Markets. EatLoco Markets are unique destinations with a familiar twist that keep people coming back and attracting new patrons each week.

EatLoco Farmers Markets is the brainchild of marketing expert, Dan Hine. Dan wanted to utilize his network and highly successful marketing company to build a farm-to-table concept that promoted healthy living and eating in Northern Virginia, all while assisting local farmers and small businesses to build their brands.

“I wasn’t raised on a farm and don’t have a background or degree in agriculture, but I saw an opportunity in LoudounCounty to build a more ‘modern-day’ farmers market to yield higher sales for our farmers. By utilizing my marketing background and offering vendors free marketing services and promotion, we were able to draw in thousands of weekly customers (instead of hundreds), increasing vendor sales and putting money directly into the vendors’ pockets during the weekly farmers markets and beyond,” said Dan Hine, Founder, and CEO, EatLoco, LLC.

In addition, giving back to the community is a big objective for EatLoco. They partnered with Loudoun Hunger Relief, which collects any leftover produce each week from the farmers markets to utilize at their local pantries. And, EatLoco co-hosts an annual Diaper Drive with the NOVA Diaper Bank, which last year collected over 3,000 diapers for local families from market customers and vendors.

To commemorate EatLoCo’s 5th Anniversary, the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce will perform a ribbon-cutting on March 26, 2022, at EatLoCo’s One Loudoun Farmers Market at 10:00 am. EatLoco will give away reusable bags, small toys for the kids, raffles, and even some gifts from their vendors. The EatLoco Farmers Market at One Loudoun is open every Saturday and the Brambleton Farmers Market is open every Sunday. The hours for both markets are 9:00 am-1:00 pm.
