ChalkFest

This event has passed, but check out our calendar for fun today, this week, this month!

The community is invited to the popular and highly-anticipated ChalkFest at the Reston Town Center on September 14, 2019!

Not just a festival to visit and see — but a community festival to participate in, too! Professional and amateur artists, businesses, families, and kids of all ages are welcome to tap into some inspiration and create their very own chalk drawings all along Market Street. Artists will be provided one box of chalk and are also welcome to bring along any other water-based pastel chalks, tools, cleaning supplies, and protective materials they might need to create their masterpiece!

The festival will award prizes for multiple categories, including professionals, amateurs, families and kids, and audience choice. See all the categories and prizes here.
