The Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) is an award-winning K-12 math program that encourages students to ask “why?” and not just “how?” With over 50 locations in the United States and Canada, you can find them locally in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. Their programs include after school opportunities, summer camps and classes, and year-round enrichment and skill-building programs.

RSM uses the rigorous study of mathematics to develop students’ math fluency, intellect, and character. Their students are guided to think about mathematics logically and conceptually, building deep connections between concepts, all in an environment of their peers that keeps them consistently challenged!

Each year, students experience the Summer Slide — the loss of knowledge and skills after a long break. This summer proves to be even more unique with the addition of the COVID Slide — learning lost as a consequence of eliminating traditional, in-person classes. The Russian School of Mathematics invites kids to keep their hard-won skills sharp while having fun, too!

Join them this summer, online, for a wide variety of opportunities that not only include math, but classes on topics like coding, creative writing, IOWA Prep, and TJ Prep. All courses will be taught in a live, interactive, virtual classroom setting.

2020 opportunities include the following hosted June 15-July 23, 2020:
