Run by Jerri Wiseman, April Bridgeman, and Terry Smith, each class at StageCoach Theatre Company is taught by a seasoned theatre professional and is ideal for sharpening performance skills, making new friends, and of course, having fun!
Actors, actresses, and performers of all kinds are invited to StageCoach Theatre Company this summer for a season full of drama, each ending with an exciting performance in front of a live audience! Camps are for pre-teens and teens ages 10 and up, with the exception of two Cabaret Camps for children ages 7-10.

Do-Re-Mi Music Camp
June 12-16, 2023
In the Do-Re-Mi Music camp, kids will learn the foundations of music-making. They’ll develop an understanding of rhythm and pitches using games, exercises, and teamwork. In addition, campers will be encouraged to embrace their individualism and harness their inner songbird. Plus, camp will conclude with a performance of the songs campers work on over the week.
Summer Camp Intensive: School of Rock (by audition only)
June 12-23, 2023
Campers will put on a full-stage musical production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s award-winning smash hit, the School of Rock! This new musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band!
Acting Camp: “Happy Birthday, Captain Hook”
June 26-30, 2023
Campers will enjoy all the stage time “Happy Birthday, Captain Hook” has to offer! From Peter Pan being captured and Captain Hook celebrating his birthday to Wendy needing to complete her writing assignment, this fun theatrical production offers campers plenty of acting fun!
July 3-7, 2023 (multiple commitments available)
Students will learn the “Yes, and…” of improv by playing games and thinking quickly. It’s the most fun kids can have on stage — great for seasoned actors who want to learn to think on their feet or beginners who want to break into acting the fun way!

Play-in-a-Day camp is a fast-paced and exciting program designed to give campers a taste of theater in just one day. Throughout the camp day, kids learn new songs and dances, develop acting skills, and explore the world of performance. At the end of the camp day, campers will put on a short performance showcasing everything they’ve learned.
Acting Camp: The Fairy Godmother Club
July 10-14, 2023
Is this the acting opportunity your camper has been looking for? A young girl has been secretly doing good deeds around her community and has attracted the attention of the Fairy Godmother Club. They’ve offered her membership, but it comes with a price! She has the chance to do good forever, but she’ll have to say goodbye to the life she has known. Will she accept?
Cabaret Camp: Lights! Camera! Action!
July 17-21, 2023
Quiet! Quiet on the set, everyone! Take your seats and prepare to be thrilled with songs and special appearances by some of Hollywood’s biggest stars (your campers)! Your kids will love being part of this musical revue that features favorite songs from the hit movies SpongeBob SquarePants, Finding Nemo, The Polar Express, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Shrek.
Kitty Cat Capers
July 17-21, 2023
Kitty Cat Capers is a fun mini-musical showcasing adorable feline friends’ mischievous and lovable behaviors. The pick-of-the-litter cast, including Copy Cat, Alley Cat, Cool Cats, and Cuddly Cats, shows mew-sical talent through their wild and wacky kitty capers. For example, Miss Tabitha, a teacher at the “Purrrfect Paws and Claws Finishing School,” encourages audience members to adopt her playful and scampering campers who wiggle their whiskers and shake their tails.
Cabaret Camp: Disney — The Movies, The Music
July 24-28, 2023
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and children of all ages! Welcome to the wonderful world of Disney! At this summer opportunity, campers will celebrate 75 years of Disney magic and some of the music that helped make that magic happen with favorite songs from the movies of Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King!
A Barnyard Moosical
July 24-28, 2023
A Barnyard Moosical is a hilarious and imaginative mini-musical about a unique and talented group of animals living on this unusual farm. Between the gourmet goats that refuse to eat garbage, a chorus line of hoofing cows, neatnik pigs, and funky dancing chickens, the musical will surely tickle the imagination of performers and audiences alike.
Gifted Actors Bootcamp (by audition only)

Your child’s been in shows and maybe has even gotten leads, but they still feel like there’s more to learn, and when they ask their Director for pointers, they’re told they are “fine.” The Director’s too busy dealing with the student who hasn’t memorized lines. Your child wants to be their best, but they’re unchallenged. What would it be like to be in a supportive environment where your child can take chances and reach new heights? What would it feel like to be in a class with kids as driven to improve as they are?
Rising Stars Theatre Camp

Jr. Rising Stars is an excellent introduction to the world of theatre for the youngest performers! Campers will learn the basics of acting, improv, and creative movement through various games and hands-on activities. Instructors will guide campers through exercises designed to build confidence, enhance communication skills, and spark creativity. Kids will work collaboratively with their peers, exploring different characters, scenes, and storylines.
Intro to Playwriting

Campers will learn the nuts and bolts of writing a play. Then, through the instructor’s methods honed after ten years of teaching writing, kids following the program can’t help but write a dramatic, compelling script.

It’s a Jungle Out There Musical Theatre Camp

King Leo is a victim of the corporate jungle! He has money, power, and fame but has not found happiness. So his trusty servants, Spot and Stripes, ever loyal to the King, begin a quest for the key to happiness. Do the monkeys have the answer? Or maybe the hyenas? Perhaps the secret lies with the elephants — who knows? This heartwarming musical play will help children see that the true meaning of happiness is not money, power, or fame but rather treasured friendships and life’s simple pleasures.
