The Fairfax County Park Authority’s popular summer entertainment series: Arts in the Parks, is now virtual! Beginning July 30, 2020, you’re invited to enjoy 25 free summer concert events for children and adults featuring a mix of nationally known performers and singer-songwriters.

Concerts will be broadcast live on Facebook each Thursday through Sunday at 7:30 pm, while children’s shows will be live-streamed Saturday mornings at 10 am. However, you do not need a Facebook account to view the concerts — the complete concert schedule, with links to join the show live, as well as information about the performers, is available on the Park Authority’s Summer Entertainment web site here.

2020 children’s performances include:

Aug 1: Billy B
Bill Brennan, known as Billy B., The Natural Science Song and Dance Man, is a children’s musician and performer.

Aug 8: Rocknoceros
With their clever turns of phrase and bright melodies, Coach, Willie Bob, and Boogie Woogie Bennie are favorite of toddlers all the way to ‘tweens!

Aug 15: Blue Sky Puppet Theater
Since 1974, Blue Sky Puppet Theatre, a touring children’s theatre, has performed thousands of shows dedicated to excellence in theatre, art, education, and fun!

Aug 22: 123 Andrés
Andrés and Christina are a Latin Grammy-winning music duo 123 Andrés, and their songs and concerts get the whole family singing and learning in Spanish!

Aug 29: Billy B
Bill Brennan, known as Billy B., The Natural Science Song and Dance Man, is a children’s musician and performer.
