This event has passed, but check out our calendar for fun today, this week, this month!

There’s some big family fun happening at the National Building Museum this month! On October 13, 2018, children and their families are invited to the museum for their annual Big Build event!

Kids and kids at heart will have the chance to experience what it’s like to be a builder! Children will have the opportunity to create masterpieces, construct LEGO skyscrapers, and experiment with woodworking tools. Plus, they’ll spend time with plumbers, ironworkers, woodworkers, and other experts to get the inside scoop on their professions and hobbies!

Participate in more than 30 activities, including:

• Cement mixing
• Virtual reality, augmented reality, and other technologies
• Decorative arts for the home
• Woodworking
• Truck petting zoo
• Stormwater management
• Spackling
• Much more!

This event, open to all ages, is free to attend. The building fun all happens at the National Building Museum, located at 401 F St. NW, Washington, DC 20001.
