Helping to give unwanted crayons new life, the Crayon Initiative’s mission serves as a perfect volunteer opportunity for kids!
The Crayon Initiative is a non-profit organization that will melt and mold broken, sad, and lonely crayons into new ones to be given to children in hospitals — inspiring creativity, hope, and endless possibility!
You can help by collecting old and unwanted crayons from various businesses (schools and family-friendly restaurants are a great place to start). Then, mail the crayons directly to the Crayon Initiative to help them in their efforts.
Easy and purposeful, there are plenty of ways to receive donations and make a powerful impact in others’ lives!
