<< More Scouting Fun

By DullesMoms, Mar 2018

An ideal destination for your Scout troop to bond and grow as a team, The EDGE at George Mason provides local groups with a unique opportunity to experience hands-on and collaborative activities that empower! The EDGE’s outdoor classroom learning environment consists of portable elements in addition to low and high ropes challenge activities, ideal for team building, personal growth, and developing or fine-tuning the skills your troop may need. The professional EDGE staff, with over 30-years of experiential learning practice, will help identify your troop’s strengths and weaknesses to develop a customized program to meet your goals and make a long-lasting impact!

Via their “Challenge by Choice” philosophy, The EDGE emphasizes that individuals are in charge of themselves and have a personal choice in determining the way in which they participate in each activity. Through this ownership-focused mindset, individuals see how their actions impact group and personal consequences, benefiting the group as a whole.

Most of The EDGE programs are 4- to 6-hours in length, with opportunities available for troops at various levels. Contact The EDGE today to customize your learning experience and get ready to grow, develop, and celebrate all that your troop can accomplish together!

Find The EDGE on the wooded 10-acres of George Mason University’s Science and Technology Campus located at 10900 University Blvd., Manassas, VA 20110.
