Loudoun County is not only home to amazing restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues, but is also rich with an assortment of farms, wineries, food sellers and makers, artisans, and more!

On the weekend of October 20-21, 2018, you’re invited to visit these new-found gems during Loudoun County’s Farm Tour!

This annual event offers families, friends, and residents a unique chance to visit with local business owners, find new favorite products, and discover all that our beautiful county has to offer. With more than 50 businesses participating this year, there will be activities and fun for the whole family!

Loudounberry Farm | Leesburg, VA
After visiting with their farm animals, young guests can take home a potted plant and choose a free pumpkin for painting!

Bridle Paths | Leesburg, VA
Bridle Paths is an equine-assisted activities program. Join them for Halloween fun with the horses, trick-or-treating, and horseshoe painting! Visit with their healing herd to learn how horses communicate and the connections that can be made between humans and horses.

Twin Maple Farm | Lovettsville, VA
Twin Maple Farm has a 50-acre farm for cattle and hay. Have fun in their corn maze and then learn about how they raise beef cattle.

Double 8 Alpaca Ranch | Lovettsville, VA
Visit Double 8’s friendly alpacas and learn about breeding, raising, and showing alpacas! Visit the farm store for beautiful alpaca yarn and product. Plus, observe an alpaca fiber demonstration (spinning, felting, and knitting).

Sylvanside Farm | Purcellville, VA
Tour the county’s largest barn built in 1740. Sylvanside Farm raises heritage-breed Clydesdales, Milking Devon Cows, and Guinea Hogs. Be sure to try their honey made by bees raised on the farm.

American Academy of Equestrian Sciences | Leesburg, VA
Learn how to groom and ride a horse.
