Visit the National Christmas Tree

<< Holiday-Inspired Fun << National Christmas Tree

On December 2, 2021, the National Christmas Tree will be lit in a big ceremony by the US President and First Lady, and also feature LL Cool J, Billy Porter, Chris Stapleton, H.E.R., Juanes, Keb’ Mo’, Kristin Chenoweth, Maren Morris, Patti LaBelle, and more performing holiday favorites!

You’re invited to visit and see the 30-foot Colorado blue spruce illuminated every evening, in President’s Park, throughout the month, December 4, 2021-January 1, 2022.

Steeped in history and tradition, the National Christmas Tree is surrounded by 56 smaller trees decorated with one-of-a-kind ornaments designed by students from across the country (click here to learn more about these decorations); each tree represents a US state or territory as well as the District of Columbia.
