This story was going to begin like all the best stories. With a school bus falling from the sky. But no one saw it happen—they were all too busy. Washington, D.C.-area native, New York Times best-selling author, and Kennedy Center Next 50 leader Jason Reynolds conjures 10 tales (1 per block) about what happens after the dismissal bell rings.

Look Both Ways presents ten unique perspectives are brilliantly woven into one funny, piercingly poignant look at the detours we face on the walk home, and in life.

Several performances will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays, from October 14-29, 2023 (plus two Fridays, October 20 & 27, 2023). Most enjoyed by audiences ages 10+.

There is also an opportunity to stay after for a Creative Conversation following the performance on October 14, 2023 (1:30 pm), when young audience members can ask questions and hear stories from the show’s artists and creative team.

The October 28, 2023 (1:30 pm), will be a sensory-friendly performance.
