Calling all pet lovers! Are you looking to add a furry friend to your American Girl family? Join the American Girl Store’s Pet Adoption Day, on April 19, 2024, to adopt a new pet for your doll.

First, girls will choose which pet from the Truly Me collection of select cats and dogs they would like to take home. An American Girl adoption counselor will complete an adoption certificate to commemorate this special day.

Afterward, head to the pampering station where your pet will receive a complimentary grooving service. Then, head to the photo spot to take a picture with your newly adopted pet!

Girls will also go home with a goody bag that includes a pet food bowl and a Pets: Getting Them, Caring For Them, Loving Them book.
