For brand new players with little or no hockey or skating experience, Ion International Training Center offers a series of Try Hockey events throughout the calendar year.

The next Try Hockey for Free Day event, led by USA Hockey-certified coaches, will be held on March 2, 2024. Players will be separated by skill level and age groups to create a safe environment for all participants.

Pucks and sticks are provided. Each participant must have skates (rental not included), winter or other protective gloves, and a protective helmet (need not be a hockey helmet- biking and skiing helmets welcome).
